[Managed Pricing] What happens if customer with yearly subscription re-installs the app and subscribes again?

Hello, I am using a managed pricing and have the following question.

If a customer buys a yearly plan and then uninstalls the app and later comes back and installs it, what will happen to their subscription? Are they going to be charged double? And let’s say they first started the subscription six months ago, and if they subscribe again, is the yearly subscription going to start from the day they subscribe again?

Feb 1 2025: Reinstalled

Expected Behavior:

  • Paid plan entitlements resume
  • Auto Renew: False
  • Plan will NOT re-tick a subscription renewal on Jan 1 2026

Jan 1 2025: Started annual plan
Feb 1 2025: Uninstalled
Feb 1 2025: Reinstalled
Feb 1 2025: Resubscribed via plan selection page

Expected Behavior:

  • Paid plan entitlements resume
  • Auto Renew: True
  • Plan will re-tick a subscription renewal on Jan 1 2026

Shall we expect the ‘currentEndDate’ is null in the first case?
