Max Modal and Close

I recently encountered a few issues related to Max Modal and the Save/Close buttons.

The Contextual Save Bar has not been implemented correctly within the Max Modal. In Max Modals, this appears as the Save and Discard buttons in the TopBar. These buttons only appear when the form becomes dirty and then block the Close button. Ensure this is updated throughout the entire app.

  1. Does this mean that I should NOT use the Contextual Save Bar with Max Modal and add two buttons to the modal’s TopBar (header)?
  2. Secondly, regarding “block the Close button”—I don’t see a way to block the Close (X) button. How can this be achieved?
