Currently using the recommendations api to pull products for display on the product page. I’ve noticed that the products I retrieve when using related are different from what I can see in the Search & Discovery dashboard for the specific product I am testing on.
Is that supposed to be the case? I would’ve expected them to be identical.

It is not guaranteed that the recommendations API and the Search & Discovery dashboard will always show the same products for “related” recommendations. The dashboard is for merchant curation, while the API is for programmatic access and may use different logic. The recommendations API uses Shopify’s internal algorithm to determine related products.
