Multiple localised shopify stores with one theme

Hi folks! I’ve developed a theme for a client, and now they wish to add more stores to sell in other territories. We want to use the same theme but update the text and images, which we can do from the theme editor.

My question is, is it possible re-use the same theme with different content? Or must I duplicate the theme for each store and maintain many near identical themes? Any best-practices? Thanks!

Each store is required to have a license for the theme. So, yes you can dup the theme for the new store, but then you have to buy a license. Or, you could consider Markets.

Thanks Ian, it’s a theme I’ve built for them. I don’t want to have half a dozen identical themes apart from the content they change in the theme editor per store.
