Odd behaviour of metafields on Order Status page

Hey folks,

I just discovered that when you set a metafield in Shopify Checkout and try to display it on the Order Status page, it always shows the original value from checkout. If the metafield gets updated afterwards (like through an API call), the Order Status page won’t reflect the new value.

Can anyone confirm whether this is a bug or intended behaviour?

Solved, had to use shopify.appMtafields instead shopify.metafields
