Order metafields on packing slips

Are order metafields able to be displayed on packing slips?

Can’t seem to get them to display at all.

Any help here is appreciated.

You can display order owned metafields on packing slips with this format: {{ order.metafields.namespace.key }}

EG on my test store I added this:

and the text based metafield was displayed:
