Packing Slips Suddenly Printing 2 per Page Instead of 1 (Started Today)

Hey everyone,

We ran into something strange today — when we generate packing slips in Shopify, they’re suddenly printing two per page instead of the normal one full-page slip.

Nothing in our setup has changed. Our shipping person has been doing this for years, so I’m confident it’s not a user error. The packing slip template hasn’t been edited recently, and we’ve tried printing from multiple browsers and computers — same result.

For example, we had 46 orders today but only 23 pages printed, with two slips per page. It’s like Shopify is automatically forcing a “2-up” layout even though all print settings are still set to single page.

I’ve attached a picture for reference.

Just wondering — is anyone else seeing this issue today? Could this be related to a recent Shopify update or a bug in the packing slip generator?

We had this same issue around the same time that this original thread was posted. It’s also happening again as of this morning. It’s good to know others have experienced this because it’s definitely from Shopify, not user error. It ended up resolving itself after a few hours in October - hoping it’s similar this time.
