Items with this issue are invalid. Invalid items are not eligible for Google Search’s rich results on the URL Kubaii Long Waterproof Bib with Pocket | 6m+ | NZ Designed

I’ve pasted in where Google has highlighted this issue is on one of my colour descriptions. I’m not sure however where or how to fix this within Shopify. I use the Prestige theme.

Hi Vanessa,

Just to confirm - where exactly are you seeing this error appear?

Hey @Vanessa_Orchard

It looks like you may have resolved this as I don’t see the error anymore. But it was because you had extra quotes around your color.

You have

"color": ""Dusty Pink"",

It should be

"color": "Dusty Pink",

Hello, Thanks so much for your replies. Yes I understood it was due to the double quotes around the “dusty pink” colourway, I just wasn’t sure where to go to fix it. Looking into the code more it looks like it may be generated from an SEO plugin I installed. I’m not sure which JSON page this code would be located on? I don’t seem to be able to edit code directly within the app?

Ah got it. Yeah, it’s coming from Webrex but I don’t see the error in the Rich Results Testing Tool anymore. So they may have fixed it already and it just takes time for Search Console to catch up.

It’s not something you can edit because it’s not in the theme code. It is however Webrex’s responsibility to make sure it’s correct. So if you still see the error, you’ll need to reach out to them.
