I am a developer that uses useCartSubscription to listen for cart changes. I put this in my Modal component, which is loaded from the Tile of course. Am I correct in understanding that there is an issue with useCartSubscription not properly reflecting cart changes? Such as a change in the customer? I have reports of some merchants for our app having an issue where the same customer is loaded over and over. (We get the customer data we need from cart.customer to properly retrieve their Loyalty data for that customer) But sometimes there is no issue and sometimes there is. Some merchants do not experience this at all.
You are correcet, there was a recent issue with cart and scanner data updates. We have released a hotfix for iOS and Android, can you please update and check kindly if this is still occurring in POS v9.29.4?
Thank you so much. I was losing my mind haha. I hope this is resolved going forward. It is good on my end but can’t speak for the devices of our merchants. I have informed them to update and hope to have updates to confirm all is good (as mentioned sometimes it can work and then stop). @Victor_Chu
iOS seems to be good. Has the Android update been released yet? Have a merchant claiming they are on the latest version 9.29.2. Is this the latest version with the fix or is it 9.29.4?
@Etra no, Google has been taking a while to review and approve builds. But I think we’re skipping straight to 9.30.1 for Android, which has all of the fixes as well.
