I have been trying to use the POS Print Api ( Print API ) on both Android and IOS and have encountered some issues. I was wondering if others encountered this as well and if it is possible to fix myself / work around or if it are actual bugs. For Android I am using a Google Pixel Tablet from 2023 and for IOS I am using an Ipad Air.
On android the first time I use the Print API it will open a native Android menu to save it as a PDF or print, but it will always have a blank page and also print/save a blank file. This menu will not be opened on subsequent attempts at all. I was wondering if it is possible to have my PDF be rendered in this menu or not open this menu at all on the first time using the API in the session?
When closing this menu and on subsequent attempts it will download my PDF (as the docs mention on Android). But, it does not use the filename of the PDF itself. How can I change the filename of the downloaded file on Android?
Lastly on IOS it will correctly open the native print menu with the my PDF but it will display it as a blank page, if I click on the page or zoom in it will correctly render it. Is it possible to fix it not rendering the PDF correctly if not opened or zoomed in?
