Product price auto revert after discount

I’m reaching out to inquire about an issue that one of our users has been experiencing with product price auto revert.

Summary of the problem: My app has feature discount product price, and merchant use this feature to create bulk discount on their store. But one store has issue product price automation revert to origin price after discount.
For ex: product A has price is $100, and compare at price is $150, they create a rule to discount 50% and assign product A to this rule. After rule create, product A will has price is $25 and compare at price is $50. However, not long after, price and compare at price automation revert to $100 and $150.

My app has thousands installs, but just one shop has that issue.

When a rule has been created, we will store origin price and origin compare at price to ours database, when rule rule is off, we will base on that data to update product to it’s origin price and origin compare at price, and delete that record after revert.
But in this case, record in database still not be deleted.

So I don’t know how can product can be updated price and compare at price.

Any insights or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

If this behaviour is only happening on one store where your app is installed, my guess is that there’s either a pricing or currency related setting in the admin causing this, or another app that is affecting pricing. The best option would likely be for the merchant to contact Shopify support directly and request they check the logs for events where the price of products is being modified.
