Hi there, The shopify.app.extensions() functionality is extremely helpful for app developers but show real time feedback that the app is installed correctly in the Shopify checkout, thank you pages, etc. But I believe there might be a critical issue with it - it doesn’t seem to be Checkout Profile…

After a lot more testing, I think it does actually scope the activations to only the currently published checkout profile. But leaving this post up for posterity.

Hey Dylan — your follow-up testing is right: shopify.app.extensions() does scope UI extension activations to the currently published checkout profile, so the activations you see in the response will reflect what’s actually live for buyers.
