Hi guys. Our apps created sales channel automatically in the past and we could use it to publish products only to that specific channel - app for mobile, app for microsite etc. It seems now channels are gone and I am not able to create it at all.
Any idea how to create one?
Do I understand it correctly, that the only way now to get a sales channel is creating unlisted public app which requires review and also payment for publishing to get the channel? This is unacceptable for Plus corporate client and renders channels useless.

A colleague and I have been working through what we thought was a relatively basic “sync” integration (a plugin for a self-hosted content management system), and we believe we’ve just been thwarted by this change in behavior.
We were made aware of the problem when a customer/developer/tester reported synchronization issues with their new app. Eventually, we traced it back to the publishedOnCurrentPublication field, which was failing inexplicably in a bulk operation, but presented a more specific error when running chunks of that query, directly.
Ultimately, the error seems to stem from the lack of a sales channel dedicated to the app. The only difference that we (and this developer) have been able to identify is the age of the apps…
Your app doesn't have a publication for this shop. error.We’re at a loss as to what else to check. It seems like the API should behave identically between two apps that have the same configuration and are installed in the same store. Unfortunately, as a result of apps being locked to a store when selecting a distribution, I can’t properly create a test matrix from existing apps (prior to the end of January) to isolate the factor(s) that dictate whether an app gets a sales channel.
Please advise!
