Hi,
the carrierService documentation states that the carrier service resource will fail unless the store installing your carrier service meets one of the following requirements:
- It’s on the Advanced Shopify plan or higher.
- It’s on the Shopify plan with yearly billing, or the carrier service feature has been added to the store for a monthly fee. For more information, contact Shopify Support.
- It’s a development store.
I’ve just had a customer interact with Shopify support. Shopify support told my customer that the yearly option (in bold) does in fact not work, and the shop had to pay a monthly fee instead.
Furthermore, Shopify was working on a fix for the problem, and it would be ready within 3 months.
Could someone from Shopify confirm this information, and/or give an update on what is going on here?
