Hiya,
Not really a category for this so apologies - there’s been a UX update to the Collections management within the Shopify admin.
I.e. https://admin.shopify.com/store/my-store/collections/12345
Previously, the products shown here were in a “load more” pagination setup (with a larger number) they are now however a more typical next/previous page setup.
Well this causes issues when you sort collections manually, you cannot move items from the second page to the first page and so on as they’re no longer in one big list (after loading more) - it’s also quite the headache to try and sort without being able to see the full list to begin with. This really needs to change back to “Load More” pagination.
Thanks for forwarding this feedback on behalf of your clients. I’ve passed it on to the relevant developers. I’ll provide an update here if we have more information to share or make any changes based on this feedback.
Just adding to this report. Same issue with huge business implications actually. Literally destroys our entire product-/shop-structure. We really need that fixed asap.
Same here - this has been really frustrating. We regularly move new drops to the top of our “latest” collection, and anything over 60 products is now a nightmare to manage. It was way more efficient when you could see the full collection and bulk select products without clicking through pages.
This is absolutely one of the worst changes Shopify has made. It is creating so much extra work and it is astounding that something that was working perfectly is now broken.
