I’m building an app called Fiscov (https://fiscov.com) and I’m having an issue with Shopify billing.
I previously had a redirect loop where users were sent back to the billing page after signing up, even when they already had an active plan. I’ve resolved that issue.
However, I now have a different problem: Shopify shows that the subscription/plan was approved successfully, but inside my app the user is still shown “Choose a plan,” as if no active plan exists.
It seems like my app is not correctly registering or detecting the approved Shopify billing plan.
Has anyone experienced this? What is the recommended way to verify an active Shopify app subscription after the merchant approves the billing charge? Are there any common webhook, session, API, or plan-status checks I should review?
