With Shopify Collabs, is there eventually going to be the ability to sell items that are bundled (both product and variant)?
Variant bundling works well, except it needs a bunch of custom things else-wear to make it work effectively in todays ecommerce enviroment…
Generally support for bundling is less than ideal across channels (facebook/Collabs/etc). I understand external channels, but collabs is shopifys own product…
Hey @ChrisBradley - thanks for raising this, and it’s a fair callout about Collabs being a first-party product.
Just to set expectations on where things stand today: bundles are currently supported on the Online Store, Shop, and Shopify POS sales channels, plus Google & YouTube for fixed product bundles only. Collabs isn’t on that list right now, and there isn’t currently a roadmap or timeline to share. You can see the current channel support here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/bundles/index
I’ve submitted a feature request internally so the team sees the use case, especially the first-party angle you raised.
