Shopify Plan for Web Components

Hi All,

I came across the Shopify Web Components and it looks extremely useful especially for existing sites that want to add some e-commerce functionality.

My question is, If someone doesn’t need an online store hosted by Shopify, is there an alternative plan that will allow me to use the Web Components & Storefront API - or are you still required to purchase the Basic plan at minimum?

There is no lower plan than the Basic plan, even if you’re not using the native Online Store channel, although for the first 3 months it is at a lower price point: Shopify Pricing - Setup and Open Your Online Store Today – Free Trial - Shopify
