Shopify theme profile intermittently returns HTTP 500 for an English collection

Expected behavior

The profiler should return a Liquid profile for the requested collection page instead of an HTTP 500 error.

Actual behavior

The English collection page loads in the browser, but Shopify CLI theme profile intermittently exits with HTTP 500 and a generic Shopify error page. The latest failure occurred on 2026-10-26 at 08:46:34 UTC. CLI operation ID: dd2f22ce-dafb-4d1c-85fa-1ce1683e674a. This is a CLI operation ID, not a Shopify request ID. A German profiling run succeeded previously on 2026-10-23; the German control was not run in the latest series because testing stopped after the first failure.

Reproduction steps

  1. Run the command below against the unpublished theme.
  2. The English collection page loads normally in the browser.
  3. The profiler exits with HTTP 500 and a generic Shopify error page.
