Hey there,
I didn’t found “source” property of a Store Credit Transaction in GraphQL.
Look like this info exists in Admin Dashboard (see screenshot).
Is this not possible for now?

Hi Yaman,
The storeCreditAccount object does not seem to currently have a field for source
- but I’ve reached out the the relevant product team to see if there’s any other way to get that data point via the API.
Thanks Liam Do you mind asking them also if they planned to send webhooks for store credits balance / store credit transactions
@Liam-Shopify How we can request for read_store_credit_accounts
write_customers
api scopes for a Shopify app.
+1 re Raheem’s Q. I can’t find it either @Liam-Shopify. Thanks!
@yaman.jaiouch excuse the big delay on responding to this, we do intend to launch webhooks for store credit, but we haven’t started on this just yet.
Regarding the ‘source’ field that you see in the transaction history we have not exposed this externally yet. Mostly because we need to be mindful about how much app data we expose to other apps. Can you elaborate on the use case a bit more?
We would like to implement an activity feed for store credits in our app and we wanted to differentiate store credits issued by our app versus admin or other apps
That makes sense, thanks for clarifying @yaman.jaiouch we’ll take a look at this, but it isn’t on our short term roadmap as we still have quite a few holes to fill until we can take store credit out of early access.
