Stuck on "Automated checks for common errors"->"Immediately authenticates after install"

We are having issue with “Immediately authenticates after install” check, we did check everything and seems it’s an issue on Shopify side. This happened few times before for other apps but it usually resolved itself after 2-3 hours…this time it just doesn’t work for last few days.

Hi @Shopsta! When this check gets stuck in a loading state, it’s usually because the automated system is repeatedly trying to verify your OAuth flow but hitting an issue that’s not surfacing as a clear error. The most common culprit is the app redirecting straight to the UI without going through OAuth properly.

Try installing your app on a fresh dev store and watch what happens - does it show the OAuth grant screen first, or does it skip straight to your app UI? The check requires that your app immediately authenticates after install before anything else happens, including on reinstalls.

If you’re confident your OAuth flow is working correctly and you’re still stuck after 48 hours, reach out to Support and explain what’s happening and the steps you’ve taken to try and resolve. Sometimes the automated system gets into a state where it needs a manual kick, and the App Review team can do that if requested by Support.

We are experiencing the exact same thing since last night. The automated check does not provide enough feedback or information on where it fails, it just fails outright with zero error messages.
We have been debugging this for the last 4-5 hrs and have not made any headway.

Street London, Client ID: 9b8198d1690c88bbca2e702e3e36be6b) has been stuck on this check for several hours despite:

  • Fresh install working perfectly on review-demo-store-2.myshopify.com
  • Token exchange authentication succeeding immediately
  • All 8 webhooks registering successfully
  • CLI validation passing

Could you please manually reset/re-trigger the prelink automated check? The app is functioning correctly and I believe the automated system may be stuck.

Thanks for sharing all that context! Unfortunately my team doesn’t have access to the automated check tooling required to look into this for you, but if you start a ticket with support and share those very same details they’ll get it in front of the right people!

We are facing the same problem since yesturday. Shopify Supports told me to wait 24h before running a new test and if it fails they will investigate. I even deployed and hosted the basic shopify remix template app without any changes and the run test failed also on “Automated checks for common errors”->”Immediately authenticates after install”
