We notice this for the Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, UAE markets.
@Paige-Shopify I think the issue is in checkout, not in the theme. If there are not theme settings I can add, no checkout branding apis that apply… What are our options except currency conversion apps?
Right now, there is no solution to address this issue. While currency conversion apps can change monetary values, they don’t modify how the currency format displays.
Since this needs to be addressed on our end, I’ve logged this as a feature request for you. Because this involves changes to checkout, I can’t provide a specific timeline for implementation at this time.
