When blocks are inside a native element, the inspector can’t find them
Reproduction steps
With theme blocks that can be nested, I have a use case where some blocks are inside a element. Despite having the proper {{ block.shopify_attributes }}, it seems the theme editor inspector is unable to select blocks that are in a top-layer element (such as dialog). It will only show the blocks underlying (cf screenshot).
Hey @bakura10 happy to look into this as always. Just to confirm, is this only happening in the theme editor UI and not in a theme preview or on a live shop?
Yes, the theme inspector feature is a theme editor feature only (that’s the feature that you enable in the top bar of the theme editor - see attached screenshot -) so this is not applicable outside the theme editor.
