Timeline for Unified Polaris Components in POS UI Extensions

The new Polaris unified components are a great improvement for admin and admin UI extensions. However, they are not currently available for POS (Point of Sale) UI extensions.

Questions

  • When will the unified Polaris components be available for POS UI extensions?
  • Is there a public roadmap or estimated timeline for this?

Hi @Anthony_Frehner ! Is the team planning on adding more components for POS? Right now the choice we have is poor compared to React Components available until 2025-07 Polaris web components

At the moment, we are not able to just migrate our UI from React Components to Polaris Web Components because they either not exist, or are not available yet for POS.

A simple example: the List component has no equivalent in Polaris Web Components (for POS and in general)
