We’re building a UCP buyer agent with Shop identity linking (Path B / Shop Pay). please refer : Shop Pay payment handler specification

What Works : OAuth + PKCE without wallet:

dev.ucp.shopping.catalog.search:read
dev.ucp.shopping.checkout:manage
→ code issued, token exchange OK, buyer-linked token mint for a merchant store OK.
What Fails : same request with pay:wallet:read added: → redirect error=access_denied / error_description=Access denied
(pay:wallet:read is in scopes_supported on the Shop Authorization Server .)
Impact: create_checkout / get_checkout with the buyer-linked token returns payment.instruments=[], so we can’t complete Shop Pay even though the merchant advertises dev.shopify.shop_pay.
Ask: Please enable pay:wallet:read (Shop Pay / delegated payments) for this Catalog client, or tell us the correct onboarding path.
