Why third fulfillment service change lineitem's locaiton?

Shopify’s third-party fulfillment services automatically modify the Location of order LineItems, even if I have manually changed the Location from the third-party fulfillment service’s warehouse to my own warehouse. This causes issues with fulfillment and tracking information through other order management apps.

I would like to know whether this is the default behavior for all third-party fulfillment services, or if this is a specific behavior of this particular fulfillment service. Also, is there a way to prevent it from automatically changing the Location?
