App bridge is doing a full redirect for home link, app icon on breadcrumb, back/forward browser buttons and <a> with href='#'

Hello, a client reported an error with navigation using the home link from navigation menu and app icon from breadcrumb and is because app-bridge is doing a redirect.

Later, elements using href=”#” and browser back/forward buttons started to do a redirect instead of using client-side navigation.

This was working fine until today.

The app is using app-bridge 4 and we are using History API to do client-side navigation.

I searched any recent change on developer changelog but found nothing.

Could you please check if this is a recent change and if that is the case will stop supporting the History API?

Also, is there a place where this kind of updates for app-bridge are notified?

There is a lot of bugs on the app bridge today. I was busy releasing new versions again and again to avoid those bugs. I am hoping I would not getting 1-star reviews on the Shopify app store.

@Henry_Tao , it seems this was fixed during the weekend: back/forward button, home link and app icon are not doing a redirect anymore.

Could you share a page where these fixes/releases are notified so we can be aware of them?
