Issue: Clicking app home removes path

Hi,

We have recently started experiencing an issue with our embedded Shopify app.

In our app.toml, the application URL is configured as:

https://www.jotform.com/store-integration-app

When users first open the app, it correctly renders at:

https://www.jotform.com/store-integration-app

However, when they click the app name (Home) in the left navigation menu, Shopify removes the path and redirects to:

https://www.jotform.com/

We have not made any recent changes to our configuration.

Has there been any recent update or change in Shopify App Bridge or Shopify’s embedded app navigation behavior that could cause this?

We’re experiencing the same issue; our app isn’t functioning. We need to know if this is a glitch they’ll fix or if they made a change to the App Bridge.

@Henry_Tao This issue isn’t related to a specific store; it’s affecting users from the Middle East. I believe it’s related to servers that redirect URLs. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn’t. Still not solved yet. The app we’re seeing this issue on is Attrac.

It is happening all stores that is installed our app.

For example it is happening on my test store: https://kaan-new-store.myshopify.com/

Currently with a workaround we are redirecting user to proper shopify app url. But this takes so much time.
