App Preliminart Steps Stuck - Automated Check for Common Errors

I am working to get my app approved. It is now stuck on the Automated Check for Common Errors step. It is stuck on the ‘Immediately Redirects’ step.

Automated checks for common errors

I need this to fail to retry with my modifications.

Hey @ethanturk

Assuming you’ve taken the steps to correct the issues, next you’ll want to install your app again and perform an action on the app page to trigger App Bridge detection. This usually gets the system to rerun the checks successfully.

If the checks are still stuck after that, make sure you’re using the latest App Bridge from Shopify’s CDN at https://cdn.shopify.com/shopifycloud/app-bridge.js

Thanks, @KyleG-Shopify. I may be missing something but I haven’t installed this app anywhere outside of my developer store. It’s fine there. This issue is on the automated checks which, if my sleuthing is correct, run on appstoretest9.

As for the issues, I am working on resolving them but it’s a WIP. The only way for me to know if I’ve fixed the problem is to run the automated checks which have gotten stuck.

And, to be clear, they are still stuck.

Hey Ethan,

What I mean here is to uninstall and reinstall on your development store as that can trigger some of the automated installation checks to re-run.

Hey @KyleG-Shopify, thanks for checking in.

I created a new submission and I am not facing the issue where the submission process gets stuck any longer.

Now my submission is failing on the 2 webhook steps. I’m working to debug the issue. Weirdly, manual calls to the webhooks via the Shopify CLI works fine.

It’s complicated by the seemingly in-progress migration from the Partner Dashboard to the Dev Dashboard.
