As mentioned in my previous post, our developers are aware of this limitation, and we have submitted feedback internally regarding this.
With that said, we are unable to share any estimated timelines for when or if this will be added to the API, and at this time we recommend subscribing to our Shopify Developer Changelog to keep an eye for any updates to this.
