[Bug] Local Delivery Notification - Order out for local delivery

When using the ‘Local Delivery’ shipping method and marking an order as ‘Prepare Delivery’, the email that should get triggered never seems to actually send.

Looks like there are multiple reports of this that have never really been addressed over the years:

Thanks for reaching out.

There is currently no way to trigger the out for delivery email within the admin.
The current local delivery fulfillment workflow allows to mark the order as ready for delivery to signal that the items have been picked and packed for delivery. However, this does not send an out of delivery notification to the customers. These notifications are currently only triggered through the API. We’re looking at providing this capability through the admin soon.
