Built for Shopify review — 10 days with no update, and no sign the app was tested

Hi everyone,

We submitted our app for the Built for Shopify (BFS) review about 10 days ago and haven’t received any response or status update yet. I’d really appreciate some guidance from the community or from Shopify staff on a few things:

  1. What is the typical turnaround time for a BFS review right now? Is ~10 days (or longer) normal, or does this suggest something is stuck?

  2. We use PostHog for analytics, and based on our session data we can’t see that anyone has actually tested the app’s core functionality. We did notice a few visitors whose emails looked like they could be reviewers, but they didn’t interact with any features. Is that expected during the review process, or does it mean the review hasn’t started yet?

  3. Each time we resubmit, do we have to wait the full review window again from scratch?

We want to make sure we haven’t missed a step or a notification somewhere. If there’s a better channel than the forums to check on review status, please point me to it.

10 days isn’t all that long, and there may be a bit of a backlog, I’d probably wait a little longer and be patient.
