I have a clinet complaining that gift cards cant be used on this preorder item but I cannot find any documentation that gift cards can’t be used on preorders. Is this documented anywhere?

It does seem that Gift cards cannot currently be used for pre-orders as they use a “fixed” deferred billing plan. I’m digging into seeing why this is not documented, and how we can get this limitation into our help docs.
