Can we have more than 3 options and 100 variants with inventory tracking on Shopify Basic plan?

In Shopify, when inventory tracking is enabled, is there any way to have more than 3 options and over 100 variants for a single product?

We are currently on the Shopify Basic plan.
Is there any API or official documentation available that allows us to bypass or extend this limitation?
