CLI Checkout extension creation issues

I am having issues creating a checkout extension through CLI. I have created the codes but I cant find where to place the codes in order to ensure that there is a link directly from the app to shopify checkout. I would absolutely appreciate some help please. I am not sure what i am missing.

I sounds like you’ve generated the checkout extension through the Shopify CLI, that’s good.

I’m not so sure what you mean by “I can’t find where to place the codes in order to ensure that there is a link directly from the app to the shopify checkout”.

Can you clarify?

The app issue I am having now is the “immediately authenticates after install”. The URL required to meet compliance cant be used because if I use url with the word shopify in it , it becomes an issue in the “fixed requirement issues with configuration” section. Let me know if you can get around this issue.

Have you tried changing your installation URL so it doesn’t contain the word shopify?

It sounds like this is a different issue than what you started the topic about which was around something about checkout UI extension issues.

Yes it’s a different issue.

I have tried it without Shopify in the URL. Each time I do it ends up showing up in “fixed requirement issue in configuration”. Which is weird now that everything else seems to be linking up fine.

??? Is there any solutions that I may have overlooked?
