For legal reasons (taxes) we need our registered company name in the invoice. But we don’t want to change our Partner name to our Company name because our legal company name is not our brand name and we want to use our brand.
Is there any way to get our legal company name in the invoices without changing our partner name which is public in the app store?
Thanks for clarifying that. Since a note won’t work, changing your company name to the legal name would be required here for the invoice.
Since you mentioned you want to use your brand name in other places, can you tell me specifically where your brand name is showing up in the app store? I can look into seeing if there are ways to change the display name there to your brand name.
If not, would it work to append your legal name to your brand name? Something like [Legal Name] operating as Kaching Bundles & Upsells.
Hey @malisauskasLT thanks for clarifying that. I did some further digging and currently, this isn’t possible.
I’ve submitted this as a feature request on your behalf: the ability to have a legal/registered company name appear on invoices (specifically in the “Bill to:” section) while displaying a different brand name publicly on the App Store.
I included that this is needed for legal and tax compliance, where the registered business name must appear on invoices, but partners want their brand name for customer-facing presence.
I don’t have a concrete timeline on if or when this would be added. Changes like this would be announced in the developer changelog.
