Company name in the Shopify fees invoice

Currently, Shopify uses Partner name in the Shopify fees invoice.

For legal reasons (taxes) we need our registered company name in the invoice. But we don’t want to change our Partner name to our Company name because our legal company name is not our brand name and we want to use our brand.

Is there any way to get our legal company name in the invoices without changing our partner name which is public in the app store?

Hey @malisauskasLT, would a note added be sufficient for this use case?

We already have a note but unfortunately that’s how it’s treated legally - just as a note. :frowning:

I need a company name in the “Bill to:” section.

Thanks for clarifying that. Since a note won’t work, changing your company name to the legal name would be required here for the invoice.

Since you mentioned you want to use your brand name in other places, can you tell me specifically where your brand name is showing up in the app store? I can look into seeing if there are ways to change the display name there to your brand name.

If not, would it work to append your legal name to your brand name? Something like [Legal Name] operating as Kaching Bundles & Upsells.
