Constant changes to ShopPlan.partnerDevelopment for some stores

Hi,

We are observing some stores that are constantly changing their ShopPlan.partnerDevelopment value, making it difficult for us to classify them.

For instance, some stores are constantly switching between:

  • ShopPlan.publicDisplayName: Development

  • ShopPlan.partnerDevelopment: true

and:

  • ShopPlan.publicDisplayName: Plus

  • ShopPlan.partnerDevelopment: false

over and over again.

Is this an expected behaviour, or is there a sync issue on your side?

This definitely doesn’t sound like expected behaviour, though we’d need to look into specific stores and API calls where this is occurring, in an authenticated support interaction to help investigate this behaviour further.

If you can please reach out to our support team via the Shopify Help Center, and provide us with the following details, and we can absolutely help look into this further.

  • The .myshopify.com URL where this is occurring
  • The API calls that returned both results, showing the switch occurring in the results, including the full HTTP details from the call:
    • The full plain text HTTP Request, including URL, Body, and Headers (no access tokens)
    • The full plain text HTTP Response, including Body and Headers
