I’ve started to see a lot of the documentation default to this now when it comes to configuring meta fields / meta objects but it still says it’s in beta (Declarative custom data definitions)
Is that the case or is it now public to use?
Hi – access to the next gen dev platform is rolling out right now: Next-Gen developer platform now available to all app developers - Shopify developer changelog – if you don’t have access currently, you will soon. All users of the next gen dev platform can use declarative definitions.

I do have access and have done since the Editions launch earlier this year.
I’ll try it again and share the error message I was getting if I get it again
Just tried this now and it works, not sure what the issue was before
