Hey @farid! I believe the syntax is fine, but you might want to make sure that you have access to Declarative custom data definitions as this feature is currently in Early Access. If you do not already have access to the Next Gen Dev Platform, then this feature will not be available. Hopefully that helps, stay tuned for a GA release very soon!
Hi @monty, we’re running into the same issue when trying to use Declarative Custom Data Definitions. We believe we should have Early Access to the Next Gen Dev Platform — we followed Shopify’s tutorial on migrating from the Partner Dashboard, which mentioned that apps without extensions would be migrated automatically. However, we’re still unable to use Declarative Custom Data Definitions in our app (currently created through the Partner Dashboard), and we also haven’t found any option to manually migrate the app to the Next Gen platform.
Could you clarify if there’s an additional step required for migration, or if access is still limited?
Would you mind sharing your definitions config (TOML) as well as any logs output from the CLI when running with the –-verbose flag? That will allow us to look into this a bit more.
