Delivery customizations & express checkouts

Hey folks,

we’ve run into a pretty big issue with the Delivery customization functions. Looks like there’s no way to set them up to only work with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal Express. What we’d really love to do is hide certain shipping options that need extra info collected via checkout extensions - since express checkouts don’t support those extensions. This would help us avoid the problem where orders come through with a delivery method that’s supposed to have additional details, but doesn’t, cause the buyer used express checkout and never got the chance to add that info.

From connecting with our internal team, it looks like there’s currently no native way to make the delivery customization function aware of being run for accelerated checkout or not. You could explore using a cart extension that adds a cart attribute and when the customization function runs it looks for the presence of this cart attribute?
