I am looking at how I can make the install process from our marketing website a bit slicker. We currently send people to the app listing, but it feels clunky because they come to our marketing site, go the app listing then click install.
It would be great if we could have an install link on our site which goes straight into the installation process.
I have found that if I add /install to the end of the app listing, it does exactly that - but I’d like to be able to know who is installing via the website and who is installing via the app listing.
Has anyone been able to add parameters to the url which get stored or passed through to the app so that we can detect it.
Or has someone come up with a different approach?
