Error requesting access to read_payment_gateways scope

Hi

When asking a user to login to Shopify i am getting the following error:

Oauth error missing_shopify_permission: read_payment_gateways

I can’t see any area in the partners dashboard to request specific permission for this scope.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @AviHAvi

It may not be possible for you to use this scope as the read_payment_gateways scope is exclusive to Payments apps, which require Partners to first be accepted into the Shopify Payments Partner Program - which is currently not accepting new Partners to apply.

Is there any work round or timeframe for when the payments partner programme will accept new partners?

There is no timeframe on when this will be available unfortunately.
