[feature request] Add ability to create app subscription discounts from API in managed pricing

Currently, it is only possible to create app subscription discounts manually from the partner dashboard; however, this creates a limitation that prevents us from implementing discount code logic. I want to create a discount code that I can then apply automatically to a user when the code is entered. So I should be able to make a call to the AppSubscriptionApplyDiscount mutation to create a discount from the GraphQL API.

This would be a great addition to managed pricing

I see similar requests, so I am sure this is something many app developers will benefit from.

How to create discounts for app subscription when using managed billing via API?

Hey! I sell my app for X$ and I want to give people a 10% off that use a discount code that I give them. How do I achieve this with managed subscriptions and billing. I see I can do this from the UI, but how can I do it via graphql API? It seems the only way is to create a discount after the subscription has already been created?

Managed pricing discounts - API?

I’m moving to managed pricing today. I know I can add a discount for a merchant from the partner dashboard after they install the app. Is there a way now or planned in the future for me to apply discounts BEFORE an install? Use case: I hold an event or sponsor something “visit this link and get 10% off our app” I was able to do this with the billing API in the past

Thanks for sharing this @farid. I did submit the feedback to our team from that thread with Nikola. Great to see this is something multiple partners are requesting and I can see it being a valuable addition to managed billing.
