Feature request: Shipping rate ID

Hi,
could you please add to the Shipping rate object also unique ID and then using this ID in the shipping lines in Order object? Currently is really painful to find out the right rate based on “title” and “price” fields.

Thanks for raising this feature request - am I correct in understanding that you’d like the shippingRate object to have a writable ID field, or should Shopify generate a unique ID for this field?

There is a field on Order > shippingLine for ID:

Should this ID be the one that would map to an ID field on the shippingRate object?

Hi Liam,
I mean that Shopify should generate a unique ID for the shipping rate when it is created, which stays the same when the rate is renamed or the price is changed.

I understand that the ID on the shipping line above is unique to each line/order. So, two different orders using the same shipping rate will have different IDs, right?
