Currently on the list of Shopify Locations you can’t easily filter if a location is setup to use Shopify POS or if it is a POS store front (which Shopify POS asks you to set when accessing the location).
Being able to access this information on the GraphQL APIs would unlock a lot easier use for merchants using Physical retail stores and apps. It would also allow much less admin work for both merchants and apps, asking which is a real store etc
Hey @JordanFinners, appreciate the Feature Request! I’ve passed this feedback along internally. I can’t make any promises, but the more features like these are requested by our merchants and partners the more likely they are to be implemented in future releases.
For now, if an app needs that exact distinction, the only real workaround is to have the merchant classify the locations in the app and store that mapping with location metafields. Thanks again for raising this!
