Generic "Network connection lost" log from Shopify Oxygen

We have a hydrogen storefront hosted on Shopify Oxygen. We’ve been noticing lately in our log drains from Oxygen a recurring error that simply says “Network Connection Lost”, with no other information.

Is this an expected/normal error on Shopify Oxygen hosted sites that is just a result of performance — some connections will be dropped, after all. If so, is there a way we can verify that our site is within range of normal connections dropped (we don’t know what’s standard performance for Oxygen), so that we can rule out the issue as coming from our storefront?

Hey @Allen_Jiang :waving_hand: - just wanted to reach out here to let you know that we do have an answer for this. We’ve seen these errors pop up for some other merchants as well, and it originates from Oxygen’s Cloudflare integration. My understanding is that they’re simply client disconnects and can usually be ignored.

Basically, what’s happening is a client is disconnecting before the full response is returned which closes the connection. I believe Cloudflare is intending to address this on their end, but just wanted to followup here to let you know that this is currently expected behaviour.

Let me know if I can clarify anything here - happy to help!
