It’s affecting all CLI versions, the only workaround would be to add an empty events section:

api_version = "unstable"
subscription = []
We are having the same issue.

I don’t have the courage to add this api_version, just going to wait 
The webbooks arent firing either now. If I remove the temp fix the original validation problem in the toml file comes back.
Do you mean adding the events section to app.toml will stop webhooks from getting fired?
