We’re observing issues when using the graphql API which are saying “Service Unavailable”. Is there something broken at the moment? The status page is all green https://www.shopifystatus.com/
Hey @Soufiane_Ghzal I’m not seeing errors myself when testing. Do you have context on the request you’re making that is returning this error or steps I can take to replicate?
Hi @KyleG-Shopify investigating right now - could it be the new collection API from 2026-07 that conflicts when we’re using 2026-04 under certain conditions?
I’m still not able to replicate this on my end. Can you share the x-request-id header from a failing request, the exact query payload, and the API version?
For context, I ran collection queries across 2026-04 and 2026-07, including basic queries, nested product connections up to 250, bulk queries with 250 collections, ruleSet and sources fields, and collectionCreate/collectionDelete mutations. Everything returned 200 OK. I also checked our incident history and didn’t find anything matching GraphQL 503s.
@KyleG-Shopify might have been a temporary issue as we see from time to time. We do not capture the request id in our logs at the moment, I’ll be sure to have it logged in the future.
I’ll close it for now.
