Group gateways by payment method

Instead of showing payment gateways/providers first on my shopify plus store, I want to rather show customers different payment methods and when they click on the payment method, then they will get a drop down list of the payment gateways who offer that payment method.

For example, instead of showing payjustnow and Payflex separately (both are BNPL gateways), it must show “Buy now, pay later” and then the drop down must offer payjustnow and Payflex as options.

How to set this up?

Hi, this isn’t possible to achieve at the moment at checkout.

The closest option today is to reorder the payment methods using a Payment Customization Function.

I’ve shared internal feedback that merchants are looking for more flexibility in how payment methods are displayed.
