Hello Shopify community, I have a client’s store. I want to convert it into a development (dev) store. Is this possible?
It’s not possible to convert an existing Shopify store to a development store. You’ll either need to request collaborator access to your clients store, so you can work on it - or create a new dev store from scratch that you would later transfer to the client.
Hey, so I’m facing the opposite of that guy’s issue lol. I’ve built a store in dev mode and i dont know how to transfer so its open to the public.

You can’t transfer a development store.
